Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
• Your product:the link you paste or the file you upload, and the summary we create from it (who it’s for, what it solves, its price).
• Your content: the post ideas, posts, carousels, images and scripts we create, your edits, and your posting schedule.
• Connected accounts:the name and handle of each social account you connect, and the status of posts published to it. We don’t see or store your social media passwords.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status and credit usage. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach us.
• Onboarding answers: for example, how you heard about us.

How we use it

• to sign you in and run your account;
• to understand your product and write, design, schedule and publish content for it;
• to process payments and track your credits;
• to keep Postomate secure, fix problems and improve the product;
• to contact you about your account or important changes.

Who helps us run Postomate

We share data only with the services we need, and only what each one needs:

• Google, for sign-in;
• Convex, for our database, file storage and backend;
• Vercel, which hosts our website;
• Dodo Payments, which processes payments as our merchant of record;
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it connects to, which read your product details and generate your posts and images;
• Jina AI, which reads the product page at the link you give us;
• Cloudflare, which stores the carousel images we create;
• Zernio, which connects your social accounts and publishes posts to them;
• the social platforms you connect (X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube), where your posts are published.

We may also share information if the law requires it. Some of these services are based outside India, so your data may be processed in other countries.

AI processing

Your product details and content are sent to AI providers to create your posts. We don’t use your data to train our own models, and we don’t share it with anyone to advertise to you.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and to remember a product link you paste on our homepage until you finish signing up. We don’t use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we permanently delete your data from our systems, including your uploaded files and generated images, except records we must keep by law (such as billing records).

Your choices

• You can edit or delete your posts and product details in the app.
• You can disconnect any social account at any time.
• You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion by emailing postomate05@gmail.com.

Security

We use trusted providers, encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously and will tell you if something affects your data.

Children

Postomate is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll let you know by email or in the app.
